The form of government of Beebe is the Mayor/Council form. The Mayor of Beebe serves a four-year term. There are six members of the City Council (also called Aldermen) who serve two-year terms:

Firework information
The City Council of the City of Beebe at the council meeting on November 26th, 2012 ban the ignition of fireworks within the City limits on December 30th, 2012 and January 1, 2013 in the following portion of the city;
All areas of the City of Beebe beginning at Highway 67/167 and continuing South and all areas of the City Of Beebe beginning at North Pecan Street and continuing West until reaching the city limits. The line of demarcation for the Eastern edge of this division (North Pecan Street) shall be perceived to continue in a straight line until reaching the city limits.
