🚧 MAJOR TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENTS COMING TO BEEBE 🚦
The Mayor’s Office and Beebe City Council are proud to announce that the City of Beebe has negotiated with the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) to construct turning lanes and left-turn traffic signals at:
Highway 31 North & DeWitt Henry Drive
đź’˛ $5 Million Project
WHY THIS MATTERS
The easiest way to describe Beebe’s street system is that the City is an island surrounded by Arkansas state highways.
Main Street, Center Street, and DeWitt Henry Drive are all state highways that are owned, maintained, and regulated by the State of Arkansas. The City of Beebe does not have authority to install lights, signs, or perform maintenance on these roads unless authorized by ARDOT.
ADDITIONAL IMPROVEMENTS
The City has also signed an agreement with ARDOT to install left-hand turn signals as needed at:

PROJECT TIMELINE
The construction timeline will be determined by the Arkansas Department of Transportation.
