Full-Time Police Clerk

The Beebe Police Department is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and organized individual to fill the role of Police Clerk. This civilian support position is essential to the operation of our department.  A successful candidate will need to be capable of providing excellent customer service to citizens and assisting with records management.

Key Duties Include:

  • Delivering friendly and professional customer service to the public, both in person and over the phone

  • Providing citizens with copies of accident reports, incident reports, and other records

  • Redacting sensitive information from documents using Adobe software

  • Processing and fulfilling Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in compliance with applicable laws

  • Digitizing and organizing older police files for efficient records management

Schedule & Benefits:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (No nights, weekends, or holidays required!)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proficiency with computers, including Adobe Acrobat for document redaction (training provided if needed)

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information

  • Ability to pass a background check
