Full-Time Police Clerk
The Beebe Police Department is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and organized individual to fill the role of Police Clerk. This civilian support position is essential to the operation of our department. A successful candidate will need to be capable of providing excellent customer service to citizens and assisting with records management.
Key Duties Include:
Delivering friendly and professional customer service to the public, both in person and over the phone
Providing citizens with copies of accident reports, incident reports, and other records
Redacting sensitive information from documents using Adobe software
Processing and fulfilling Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in compliance with applicable laws
Digitizing and organizing older police files for efficient records management
Schedule & Benefits:
Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (No nights, weekends, or holidays required!)

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency with computers, including Adobe Acrobat for document redaction (training provided if needed)
Strong customer service skills and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
Ability to pass a background check
