Splash Pad Closure Notice

The splash pad is temporarily closed due to lightning that struck our water treatment plant on the Fourth of July, damaging the control systems that operate the facility.

To ensure a safe and reliable water supply, we are currently using water provided by the Lonoke White Public Water Authority, which is sourced from Greers Ferry Lake—more to come on that later.

This temporary closure is a proactive measure while repairs are being made. Repair crews are working as quickly as possible to restore the damaged equipment at our water treatment plant.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and will provide updates as more information becomes available.

🚧 City of Beebe Mayoral Proclamation 🚧

Each year, underground utility lines across our nation are put at risk due to unintentional damage from digging without calling 811 first. These incidents can lead to service outages, environmental harm, serious injuries, and even loss of life.

That’s why organizations like the Common Ground Alliance and its thousands of members work to spread awareness of the national Call Before You Dig number — 811. Since its designation by the FCC in 2005, 811 has made it easy for homeowners and contractors to request utility line locations before starting any digging project.

By practicing safe digging—calling 811 in advance, waiting the required time, respecting marked lines, and digging carefully—we can protect our community, save time and money, and keep everyone safe and connected.

Safe digging is a shared responsibility.
To know what’s below, call 811 before you dig.

📢 Now, therefore, Mayor Mike Robertson has proclaimed April 2026 as National Safe Digging Month in the City of Beebe.

We encourage all residents and contractors to make the safe choice every time.
Safe digging is no accident. Call 811 before you dig!
