Each year, underground utility lines across our nation are put at risk due to unintentional damage from digging without calling 811 first. These incidents can lead to service outages, environmental harm, serious injuries, and even loss of life.
Thatβs why organizations like the Common Ground Alliance and its thousands of members work to spread awareness of the national Call Before You Dig number β 811. Since its designation by the FCC in 2005, 811 has made it easy for homeowners and contractors to request utility line locations before starting any digging project.
By practicing safe diggingβcalling 811 in advance, waiting the required time, respecting marked lines, and digging carefullyβwe can protect our community, save time and money, and keep everyone safe and connected.
Safe digging is a shared responsibility.
To know whatβs below, call 811 before you dig.
π’ Now, therefore, Mayor Mike Robertson has proclaimed April 2026 as National Safe Digging Month in the City of Beebe.
We encourage all residents and contractors to make the safe choice every time.
Safe digging is no accident. Call 811 before you dig!

π§ Is It Just Us, or Does Everything Revolve Around Water Lately? π¦οΈ
It feels like water has been the main character around here:
Too much rain? π§οΈ Weβre dealing with flooding and soggy yards nobody can mow. Not enough rain? π₯ Weβre under a burn ban.
π₯΅Itβs so hot schools are sending bottled water on buses to keep kids cool. π As Bobby Boucher says: βNow thatβs what I call high-quality H2O!β π¦
Afternoon showers pop up, morning rainbows show off. π
πΈ And, of course, the splash pad photoshootβ¦the forecast calls for rain π but the show must go on!
AC units working overtime...some leaking, others breaking, and plenty being repaired.π
Fun fact, though: about 60% of the human body is made up of water, maybe thatβs why it feels like weβre living and breathing it these days! π

π¦β¨ BIG NEWS! β¨π¦
Woah! Iβm thrilled to share that the splash pad I designed is going to be featured in an upcoming catalogue! π€©
πΈ A photoshoot is coming up, and I canβt wait!
π₯The grant process and construction oversight were A Whole New Ballgame for me! I tried my very best to hit this one out of the park down to the tiniest details. βΎ
π±I watched this space grow from weeds pushing through cracked batting cage concrete, mushy ruts in the mud, and loads and loads of dirt, through literal tons of concrete, layers and layers of paint, with several curveballs thrown in, to sod taking root, picnic umbrellas being placed and specialty stadium chairs and swings being hung. Designing it from conception to reality has been such a labor of love come to life and now seeing it recognized like this is surreal. I'm grateful and proud to have had the opportunity to create a place where many fun memories will be made. π₯³
Stay tuned for some behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot! π·π¦
